The presentations were made by Jon Shaw, Honorary Secretary at CBRFC, who was instrumental in setting up girls rugby at Colwyn Bay following a conversation with Joely Benton in 2005. Joely, a former Mermaids captain, was unable to attend for the match or presentation.
